Andy, one of our friends, invited us to join him and some other friends to stay in a cabin and float down Arkansas' Buffalo River. It was really fun and the most 'outdoorsy' thing I felt we had done since living in Utah. At times, the river was low in spots and we would get grounded. To this day when we talk about trip, Alice says "We got stuck."

The views were beautiful. We also managed to not flip the canoe--a big feat when we hit a few rapids.

This reminds me of the time we shot the Green with uncle Newell. I was pretty young at the time. Do you remember it?
